Information on support and donations for quake and tsunami victims

The Government of Japan is making all efforts to assist residents and citizens of the affected regions with their recovery in the aftermath of the Tohoku district - off the Pacific Ocean Earthquake. We deeply appreciate your generous intentions to provide help to those who are affected by the disaster. 


Information on how to donate to disaster victims and support for those who are seeking help to locate loved ones in Japan are given below:

• Monetary Donations
  To donate via the donation channels provided by the Singapore Red Cross Society (SRCS), please click here.

Support Information

1. Japan has received tremendous support from governments worldwide in terms of rescue and recovery missions including the search for missing persons, and because of the difficulty of assessing the extent of damage, we are unable to request specific help from NGOs worldwide. 
2. Information will be made available here once we know what kind of assistance and support are needed from NGOs worldwide.
3. The logistics involved for receiving relief supplies are currently being set up and information will be announced once available.
